Our Family Friendly Fishing trips provide the ideal short-term experience for families looking to introduce their children to the thrill of sport fishing. These trips are designed to ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience for young anglers, allowing them to bond with their families while exploring the excitement of the sport. Along the way to the fishing spot, guests may encounter a variety of marine life, including sea lions, harbor seals, dolphins, and sea birds.

All fishing takes place within the protected waters of the harbor, offering a calm and comfortable environment for a relaxing day on the water. Upon reaching the fishing destination, we will conduct a brief lesson on fishing fundamentals, tailored to both children and parents. As the day progresses, we continue to educate young anglers on conservation, the different species they encounter, and any other questions they may have. Above all, our focus is on creating an experience filled with laughter, smiles, and cherished memories.

Introduction to fishing (children or adults)

Learning the fundamentals of saltwater fishing can be challenging without the right guidance and equipment. Make your trip an "Introduction to Fishing" trip and we will provide all the necessary resources for a successful day on the water, along with the expertise we've honed over years of experience. The day will begin with an introduction to the tackle, casting techniques, and baiting methods to ensure you are comfortable with the gear. Once you are confident in your abilities, we will focus on targeting inshore species, offering hands-on instruction and support throughout the process.

What we provide

Our 20’ Angler is the perfect platform for the type of trips we offer. This boat offers and excellent ride and amenities for its size. The boat is fully equipped for two anglers to fish extremely comfortably. Powered with a powerful and reliable 200 HP Yamaha outboard, she will surely get us to our destination quickly and safely. Plenty of deck and storage space for your personal items.
With over 20 years of fishing experience, we can provide you with the information you need to be successful on the water. Being able to catch fish is not just about having the right set up and bait, you also need to be able to read the tides, know where to anchor, keep an eye on water temperature, spot birds crashing on bait, and keep track of so many other variables.
We provide a variety of high-quality rods from Daiwa, Shimano, and other manufacturers. No matter what type of trip you are looking for, we have the rod for you to be successful.
All of our rods are outfitted with either Daiwa or Shimano reels. We offer both spinning, conventional, and baitcasting reels, as well as both right and left handed models.
Customer is responsible for any lost or damaged rods and reels
All the tackle necessary for your trip will be provided by us at no additional cost. Feel free to bring any tackle you prefer or would like to try out.
All of the day’s catch will be cleaned per the California Department of Fish and Wildlife requirements at no additional cost. Please be sure to bring a cooler if you plan on taking fish home.
